Temporary Field Support Unit - Security Guard. (Kingston)

Job Description: Perform assigned shifts across multiple sites, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and responding to fire or emergency incidents Deliver solid customer service while assisting individuals under stress or requiring medical support Apply Use of Force or restraints when required Provide security escorts and motor-vehicle assistance to staff and visitors Maintain accurate logs and reports for all activities, calls, and investigations Enforce rules, address violations, and remove individuals when necessary Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and unlawful activity Manage access control at entry points and ensure only authorized personnel enter Support enforcement of company policies, reporting suspicious activity and security concerns Report incidents, accidents, and breaches promptly to management Monitor surveillance systems and ensure equipment is functioning properly Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when required Additional duties as assigned Prerequisites: Immunization Record (Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2) Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider G2 or G-class Ontario Drivers License Proof of (minimum) 2 Covid Vaccine doses Legally authorized to work in Canada Willing to complete N95 Mask fit clean-shaven requirement Must have a reliable vehicle Fluent in English (both oral and written) Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin''sUoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite,however Paladin will coverall ofthe costs of the training with a6 monthcommitment to the position/availability Certification Requirements (All) First Aid, CPR Level C Valid Ontario Security License Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2odd7n
