Description
A Brief Overview Reporting to the Manager, Student Services in the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs, the Office Assistant is responsible for reception, general clerical and administrative duties supporting the School as well as support for internal and external relations, event and project planning assistance, and some finance and bookkeeping activities. Other duties include preparation of correspondence, word processing, data management, event support and assistance, and information distribution. This position acts as the first point of contact for all visitors and directs them to appropriate parties. This position provides general reception and administrative support to the department. This position also provides logistical support for events to ensure they run smoothly.
