Nestled in the vibrant heart of downtown Kingston, Miss Bāo Restaurant + Cocktail Bar offers an exquisite blend of Asian Fusion cuisine in a full-service setting. As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for passionate individuals to enhance our Heart of House team as Prep/Line Cook. Miss Bāo Restaurant + Cocktail Bar is currently looking for a Contract Kitchen Prep/Line Cook from May 14 to June 21, 2026. This role requires availability after 4:00 PM for a minimum of two shifts per week between Thursday and Sunday. There is a possibility for the position to extend into a part time or full-time role after the contract period ends. This is a great paid work opportunity for culinary students, interns, or anyone with basic culinary experience who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a full-service restaurant workplace. Your Role: As a pivotal member of our culinary team, you will: Thrive on the line during bustling dinner services, crafting and adorning dishes from our seasonal menu with finesse. Uphold the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and order, both during and after service. What We're Looking For: Familiarity with industry best practices and a robust understanding of food safety principles. Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, positive mindset. Experience in a kitchen that prioritizes cooking from scratch is preferred. Open availability from Thursday to Sunday is preferred.
