This role is essential to ensuring smooth overnight operations, accurate financial reporting, and a welcoming experience for late-arriving guests. Responsibilities Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and completeness Reconcile daily accounts, prepare reports, and close out the day’s financial activities Provide exceptional guest service by assisting with late check-ins, resolving concerns, and handling special requests Answer and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette Maintain a secure, organized, and welcoming front desk environment during overnight hours Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and updating guest profiles Monitor the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support guest needs Qualifications Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are an asset Comfortable handling multi-line phone systems and guest inquiries Basic knowledge of hotel management software and accounting/auditing processes is an advantage Ability to work independently and stay motivated during overnight shifts Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in a quick-paced environment Why Join Days Inn Kingston?
