Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and performing general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support construction activities Support carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution Perform demolition, restoration, and renovation work as needed Assist with installation of flooring, tile laying, painting, plumbing, and welding tasks under supervision Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working workplace Support team members with miscellaneous tasks such as moving materials, mixing concrete, or installing fixtures Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively Knowledge of basic construction techniques including carpentry, painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, and tile laying is a plus Ability to read blueprints and schematics is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Reliable transportation or access to job sites as required A positive attitude with a focus on safety and quality workmanship Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Advantages: On-site parking Store discount Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p9nn2
