CLIENT ADVISOR, PERSONAL INSURANCE The Client Advisor, Personal Insurance, is dedicated to servicing the needs of our personal insurance clientele. In addition, they will successfully manage and grow a specific book of business. Other duties include reviewing existing policy renewals, generating new business, file reviews, cross selling our products and services, facilitating policy changes, claims reporting and advocacy.
LOCATION AND STATUS
Kingston, ON
Full-time, permanent
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing ongoing needs and advising on insurance matters.
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Respond to client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
Conduct care calls and manage policy renewals.
Sell new policies to existing clients, ensuring retention of the current book of business.
Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters to review guidelines and resolve policy‑related issues.
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications and process policy changes.
Stay updated on underwriting rules, industry standards, and workflow processes.
Actively participate in training sessions to stay informed on product offerings and industry changes.
Provide guidance and support to clients as requested, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of related Insurance experience preferred
RIBO license is required
Post‑secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role is an asset
CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiar with insurance customer relationship software.

Flexible, adaptable, and skilled in problem-solving.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
COMPENSATION Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 CAD annually
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as a candidate’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, location, and internal equity.
