Key Responsibilities
Analyze statistical data to estimate risk, probability, and financial outcomes. Assist in pricing models, reserve calculations, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Develop and maintain actuarial models and reports. Perform data validation, trend analysis, and risk assessments. Support insurance product development and pricing strategies.Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and documentation for management. Collaborate with underwriting, finance, compliance, and product teams. Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and industry developments. Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and actuarial standards.Support automation and process improvement initiatives using analytical tools and scripting. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience in Akur8 or Arius 1–5 years of experience in actuarial analysis, insurance, financial services, or risk management. Progress toward actuarial certifications such as SOA or CAS exams preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, or actuarial modeling software is a plus. Knowledge of insurance concepts, financial mathematics, and statistical analysis. Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team workplace.
