We’re seeking an outgoing, energetic, and creative individual to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong eye for detail, and possesses experience in social media management, photography, and videography. JOB SUMMARY Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens is actively seeking a full or part-time, creative, and energetic Marketing Assistant to join our team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Create social media content, including concepts, photography, videography, and copywriting for Facebook, Instagram, and Instagram Stories · Capture and edit photography and videography content for marketing and promotional use · Design and produce signage and print materials, including brochures, labels, pamphlets, posters, banners, and coupons · Manage and regularly update the company website · Design, develop, and distribute weekly e-newsletters · Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events · Capture photos and videos during events for promotional and marketing purposes Other duties as required JOB QUALIFICATIONS · Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills · Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality · Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment · Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva · Experience using DSLR cameras for photography and videography · Knowledge of UI/UX design principles WORK SETTING · Monday-Friday work schedule with occasional weekends and holidays as needed. · Basic movements such as lifting, bending, twisting, turning, crouching · The greenhouse may be hot and humid during the warmer months · Office environment · Physically active during events BENEFITS · Extended health & dental care · Life insurance · RRSP match · Product discounts DISCLOSURE We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
