Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming experience. This role involves taking orders, serving gelato and other specialty items, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Previous serving experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Server will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our guests through excellent hospitality and efficient service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Serve gelato and other items promptly while maintaining presentation standards Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering duties Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest experience Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed during busy periods Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during shifts Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized service station and dining area Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant setting preferred but not required Knowledge of POS systems is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and change calculation Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Familiarity with food industry terminology, serving protocols, and hospitality standards Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to deliver outstanding service in a vibrant shop where your hospitality skills will shine!
