As part of the data team at JAM Industries / Nexora, the Data Engineer will develop and evolve scalable data warehouse and lakehouse solutions that support analytics, AI/ML initiatives, and business intelligence in a distribution-driven environment. If you’re seeking a hybrid role, with potential eligibility for remote work, where your data engineering expertise and impact across the business are valued, we’d love to hear from you. #LI-Hybrid #LI-Remote Responsibilities - Data Warehouse & Pipeline Development — Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and related cloud services. - Architecture Design — Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of Lakehouse, warehouse, and medallion architectures. - Solution Development — Build and maintain data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives. - Quality Assurance — Ensure the accuracy, reliability, performance, and security of processed and stored data. - Monitoring & Optimization — Participate in monitoring activities, investigate issues, and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency. - Documentation & Governance — Document technical processes (e.g., in Confluence) and adhere to data governance and compliance best practices. - Cross Functional Collaboration — Work closely with architects, business analysts, data scientists, and project managers to deliver high quality data solutions. Minimum Requirements - 5+ years of experience as Data Engineer with a strong background in Azure and hybrid cloud environments. - Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Python, PySpark, SQL, GitHub, and Azure DevOps. - Solid understanding of Lakehouse and medallion architectural patterns. - Strong commitment to documentation, code quality, and adherence to engineering standards. - Good knowledge of data warehouse concepts and best practices. - Experience working in a DevOps environment with strong version control skills (Git).
