Industrial Mechanic– CNC Operator, Baie-D'Urfé

Tasks

Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment and provide mechanical support during minor troubleshooting.

Program laser-cut parts based on technical drawings and files using TRUMPF TruTops and Boost software.

Create and optimize nesting layouts to maximize material usage and operational efficiency.

Participate in the integration and optimization of programming processes and production workflows using Boost software.

Operate CNC laser cutting machines, including machine setup, material loading, and production start-up.

Monitor cut quality and ensure produced parts meet specifications, drawings, and tolerances.

Analyze technical or quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to propose improvements.

Follow occupational health and safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.

Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job Requirements

DEP (vocational diploma) in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Strong mechanical aptitude, autonomy, and attention to quality.

Team spirit and problem‑solving skills.

Interest or experience in CNC laser programming (TRUMPF experience is an asset).
