Smiths Interconnect Quality Inspector Role, Kirkland

Smiths Interconnect is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a temporary full-time role located in Kirkland, North America. This position is vital for ensuring that our interconnect products exceed quality expectations through thorough inspections.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for executing Customer Source Inspections (CSI) and First Article Inspections (FAI). Your work will include performing incoming and in-process inspections while meticulously documenting inspection results to support compliance and improvement goals. Evening shifts are an integral part of this job.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct inspections of raw materials and components • Perform visual inspections using precision instruments • Gather and store data related to quality inspections • Document and report any non-conformance issues • Support external and internal audit activities

Requirements:• High School Diploma or equivalent, required • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Control or manufacturing • Basic knowledge of quality control principles • Ability to read and interpret technical documents • Effective teamwork and communication skills in English and French
