Whether our clients are 1 or 100, we have products to ensure the independence, mobility, and safety of clients of all ages. **The role** We are adding a Warehouse Associate to our team in Ontario. This posting is for an existing vacancy. You will drive warehouse efficiency and process improvement and collaborate with colleagues in all departments. This role will specifically help manage inventory, ensuring we have the correct information in our database, and that we have accurate levels of stock on hand or on order. As a Warehouse Associate (Inventory Control), you will play a key role in ensuring continued flow of business through the location. This is a full-time position, working a regular Monday to Friday schedule alongside a strong team of Sales Reps, Service Technicians, and Administrators. **What’s in it for you** **Impact.** Every day at Motion provides a new opportunity to create a tangible impact on the lives of our clients. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels for key equipment, parts, and materials. You will coordinate with vendors to ensure stock levels remain consistent and orders are picked correctly. - **Cycle Counts.** Weekly and annual counts are done to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. You will work with Finance and Management to ensure that our inventory records are counted correctly. - **Order Processing.** You will liaise with the Service and Sales Coordinators to ensure accuracy of order details and ensure items are staged correctly for delivery. - **Process Mobility Devices and Equipment.** You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage, cleaning, and packing as items enter or exit the dock. You will store, organize, and manage our inventory. You will tag, price, store and organize all mobility devices, parts and tools within the warehouse. This may require assisting to build or clean mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment and power scooters. - **Engaged Team Member.** You will assist your team whenever needed. Whether that means interacting with a customer or helping other team members, you are ready, willing and able to move into the next task that needs your attention. **What you bring to the role:** - **Experience.** You have a minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role. You are comfortable using computers, can learn new systems and databases, and have a moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. - **Communication skills.** You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper. You can provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse. - **Analytical skills.** You are a strong problem solver with the ability to identify gaps and implement strategies for improvement. - **Flexibility.** You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously. You are a true team player but can also work on your own with little supervision. - **Additional must-have requirements:** you are able to lift up to 50lbs, have a clean criminal background check, and are bondable. **What we offer:** At Motion, we are proud to provide our employees with the following competitive benefits and rewards package.
