Electrical Engineer

at icspi, you will work on pushing nanoscale imaging technology to the limit. We are looking for a resourceful, hands-on engineer to work on the electronics of our unique micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS)-based AFM technology to drive industry-leading performance and capability. You will work on designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components and systems, as well as MEMS drive (controls)/sense, MEMS device characterization.What you'll do

Push systems to their performance limits using electronics, software, firmware and MEMS improvements; debug issues; improve reliability Gather requirements, design and iterate with mechanical, software and MEMS teams Lead end-to-end PCB design, bring-up, testing and integration Develop new ways of controlling the systems and sensors; develop new data acquisition methodsQualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical engineering Experience working with precision sensors, especially characterization, performance and integration Experience with end-to-end electrical hardware (design, prototyping, bring-up and debugging) Experience with analog and digital circuit design and testingExperience with PCB design and simulation tools Experience with scripting and data manipulation in Python Nice to have

Experience with firmware, microcontrollers Control theory Familiarity with MEMS C/C++ experience To apply
