Job Title: QA Lead (Guidewire Policy Center & Commercial Insurance Exp Must) Duration: 6 Months Location: Westmount Rd, Kitchener, ON Work Type: Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week Experience Required: 10+ Years Job Description We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to support testing initiatives across functional, regression, and integration testing activities. The ideal candidate will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality applications through effective test planning, execution, and defect management. Key Responsibilities Participate in requirements elaboration sessions, sprint planning, release readiness reviews, and other Agile ceremonies Design, develop, and execute functional test plans and detailed test cases based on product and business requirements Document, log, and track defects using management tools, ensuring issues are clearly communicated to relevant teams Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues identified during testing Conduct: Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Verify recent features and ensure updates do not negatively impact existing functionality Prepare high-quality test documentation and present testing results and recommendations to stakeholders Coordinate demos with business stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary Utilize Agile tools such as JIRA to track testing efforts and progress Essential Skills Strong experience in: Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing Expertise in test design, test planning, test case creation, and documentation Proficiency with defect management and tracking tools such as JIRA Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify edge cases Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills Commercial Insurance Guidewire Policy Center Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ndkui
