Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and a commitment to teaching students of all ages. This role involves not only instructing classes but also fostering a positive and encouraging setting that promotes personal growth, discipline, and respect among students. Duties - Conduct engaging martial arts classes for various age groups and skill levels, ensuring that all students receive personalized attention. - Develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students while promoting physical fitness, self-defense skills, and confidence. - Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. - Maintain a safe and clean training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. - Organize and participate in events such as tournaments, demonstrations, or community outreach programs to promote the martial arts program. - Collaborate with other instructors to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. - Foster a sense of community among students through team-building activities and mentorship. Qualifications - Proven experience in teaching martial arts; certifications in specific disciplines are preferred. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. - Teaching or coaching experience: 1 year (preferred) - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. - A commitment to ongoing personal development within the martial arts field. - Energetic, positive, reliable, and passionate about working with youth - First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required.
