Technology Software Developer (Kitchener)

Full‑Stack Software Developer Purolator is Canada’s leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider. The Shipper Technology department is hiring a Full‑Stack Software Developer for a fixed‑term contract position lasting until the remainder of 2026. In this role you will be involved in all aspects of a project’s lifecycle, from requirements and design through to deployment and incident support. You will work closely with internal and external customers to understand their needs and contribute to technical solutions. Responsibilities Develop and deliver code across a range of languages, focusing on quality, security and efficiency. Collaborate with the dedicated testing team to resolve bugs and improve the overall solution. Self‑manage workload in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Occasionally travel to Purolator facilities to meet end‑users. Roll out solutions to the market, write documentation, and address technical incidents. Technologies .NET C# React or Angular JavaScript and TypeScript Postgres Cloud experience in at least one of AWS or Microsoft Azure Bonus Points Python or Java Flutter Standard HTML/CSS Terraform and GitHub Actions Other cloud data stores such as Redis, SQL Server, MongoDB or DynamoDB GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control, work assignment, pipelines and releases The Candidate At least 3 years of relevant experience beyond education and training. Demonstrates out‑of‑the‑box thinking and genuine excitement about technology. Effective communication, presentation and documentation skills. Enjoys helping teammates achieve their goals and building relationships with peers outside their own team, contributing to a positive culture. Lives in Ontario, Canada. Work Environment The role is hybrid, requiring 2‑3 days per week in the office. Desk space is available in Kitchener and Mississauga technology offices.
