Human Resources Generalist Location: Kitchener, ON (Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approx. 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 Term: 3–6 Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kitchener. This opportunity is available immediately to support the HR team during a leadership transition, with potential for long-term hire based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional with experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, benefits, onboarding, and HRIS management in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Key Responsibilities - Maintain employee records and HRIS data including onboarding, status changes, and documentation - Support recruitment activities including screening, interviewing, offer presentation, and onboarding - Administer employee advantages, vacation tracking, and HR-related programs - Coordinate employee orientation, training, and engagement initiatives - Prepare HR reports and support workforce administration activities - Assist with employee relations matters and communicate HR policies and procedures - Maintain confidentiality while supporting a high-volume HR function - Support compliance-related processes and employee security clearances where required Qualifications - 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments - Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field - Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Professional, resourceful, and customer-service focused approach This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to join a collaborative team environment with the potential for long-term growth.
