Overview Akkodis is seeking an Embedded Software Developer for a contract position with a client in Ottawa or Waterloo (onsite). The role requires experience with embedded hardware and software design, knowledge of control theory and algorithm design, MATLAB/Simulink, Jira, and GitHub. Jama is a plus. Familiarity with CAN/Ethernet tools, AutoSAR, and Functional Safety ISO26262 is also desired. Responsibilities Own and review requirements, create high-level functional specification design, and deliver quality code using MATLAB/Simulink or C in an AutoSAR Classic workplace. Conduct design reviews for current content, resolve vehicle/breadboard software issues, and unit test content. Develop control algorithms and code for vehicle features related to climate, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats. Qualifications 5 years of engineering work experience. Understanding of embedded hardware and software design. Knowledge of control theory and algorithm design.
