Grounds Crew Member (Kitchener)

Grounds Maintenance Crew - FULL-TIME YEAR-ROUND POSITION Summary: At Kerr and Kerr Landscaping, we're passionate about crafting and maintaining breathtaking outdoor spaces. We're on the lookout for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to be an integral part of our team. What you'll be doing: - Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing of all hard surfaces, fertilize and water turf areas and perform other lawn care duties as directed by immediate supervisor. - Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, and snow blowers. - Provide exceptional workmanship while maintaining Kerr and Kerr Landscaping properties. - Sidewalk clearing, salting and ice patrol during winter months What you bring: - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent - Minimum one year experience in the landscape/construction industry - Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices. - Preference will be given to candidates with a valid driver’s license and protected driving record Your working conditions: - Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold. - Occasional weekend work 1-2 Saturday's per month during peak season.
