We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Associate Lawyer** to join our team immediately. The Opportunity This is a **fee split arrangement (60% Associate / 40% Firm)**, structured in accordance with Law Society of Ontario guidelines for independent associate relationships. You will be integrated into an active caseload from day one, with mentorship and infrastructure support from our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer who wants real courtroom and file experience in a supportive boutique setting. What You'll Do - Manage and advance litigation files from intake through resolution, including Superior Court, Small Claims Court, and Ontario Court of Justice matters. - Draft pleadings, motions, factums, correspondence, and settlement documents. - Attend court appearances, motions, case conferences, and settlement conferences. - Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice to clients. - Collaborate with the principal lawyer and support staff on active files. - Maintain file organization and compliance with LSO requirements.
