Electrician, Building Automation (Kitchener)

Summary We are seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our team at Energy Controls & Mechanical Services. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing Building Automation Systems. Responsibilities - Install and maintain Building Automation Systems, primarily in commercial and institutional buildings. - Troubleshoot and repair Building Automation Systems to ensure proper functionality. - Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to Building Automation Systems. - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Requirements - 309A Electrician License - Valid G-class Driver's License - Working at Heights valid certificate - 2+ years experience preferred. - Knowledge and experience servicing Pneumatic Controls an asset. - Knowledge of hydronic heating systems an asset. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. - Familiarity with building automation systems is a plus. - Ability to read schematics and technical documents accurately; ability to plan and carry-out installations. - Motor & VFD installation and fault diagnosis an asset. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
