Youth Caregiver in Agency-Provided Home, Kitchener

Provide crucial care as a Skilled Foster Caregiver with Family and Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region. Support up to four youth with complex needs in a nurturing environment.

This role involves residing in an agency-owned home and committing to a minimum of two years of dedicated service. You'll be responsible for day-to-day care and supervision, ensuring youths remain engaged with their schools and communities while collaborating with a care team focused on their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:• Supervise and care for four youth daily • Assist youth in maintaining connections to school • Collaborate with care teams for comprehensive support • Participate in planning with in-home clinical staff

Requirements:• Background in supporting children/youth with complex needs • Team player with willingness to work alongside others • Must be comfortable in a pet-friendly environment • Two-year minimum commitment required to foster youth
