Job Overview HAFI Contracting Group is seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Worker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in residential and light commercial construction and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general construction tasks including framing, drywall, finishing, and demolition.

Assist with installation of doors, windows, flooring, siding, and roofing.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Load, unload, and transport construction materials.

Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.

Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in construction (residential or commercial).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and time management skills.

Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

Experience in carpentry, concrete, or renovations.

WHMIS or Working at Heights certification.

Experience with power tools and heavy equipment.

Basic knowledge of building codes and site safety.

Competitive hourly wage:

$26 - $30

(based on experience).
