We are a leading designer and manufacturer of custom transformers, inductors and coils. Who We're Looking For: You’re a go-getter with a penchant for pushing boundaries and a fearless attitude towards experimentation. As our ideal candidate, you're not just eager to learn; you're hungry to innovate and make a real difference. Whether collaborating with a team or tackling projects solo, you're adaptable, resourceful, and always ready to take on new challenges.
What You'll Do: As a technician, you'll have the chance to work on a variety of projects and tasks, including:
Production Process Optimization: Assist in maintaining and optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Standardized Work Instructions: Help create and update work instructions to drive standardized procedures.
Troubleshooting and Prototyping: Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot electrical issues related to testing and prototyping.
Test Case Development: Assist in developing test cases and programming coil winding machines.
Design Support: Work alongside senior design engineers in designing new transformers and inductors.
Production Support: Respond to production needs and support various tasks as required.
Additional Responsibilities: Take on other duties as requested to support our team's goals.
Work term: September– December 2026.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Company location is right across the bus stop for easy access.
NOTE: This job is funded by the Government of Canada's Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). The SWPP program requires that candidates be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or a protected person defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
