Overview We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive electrical systems, dealership experience is preferred. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components in various vehicle makes and models, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Auto Electrician will work closely with mechanics and customers to deliver high-quality service and solutions. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles using schematics and diagnostic tools Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, lighting, and electronic systems Perform welding and assembly tasks as needed for custom or repair projects Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during repairs Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future issues Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle Assist with vehicle inspections to identify potential electrical problems early Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems Proficiency with schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment Skilled in welding, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients Experience with maintenance procedures for electrical components Mechanic experience that includes troubleshooting complex electrical issues Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions This position requires a dedicated qualified committed to quality workmanship and safety standards.
