Scope of the position The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products to customers. This includes driving between pickup locations and customer destinations, verifying delivery details, and maintaining communication with dispatch for updates or additional pickups. The driver must ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well‑maintained, and operated safely at all times. They are also responsible for ensuring products are delivered without delay or damage and for completing any additional duties assigned by management.
Major Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver goods to and from designated locations.
Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
Use maps, GPS, and other route‑planning tools to determine efficient delivery routes.
Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Record trip details including mileage, fuel usage, delivery notes, and any vehicle issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Perform housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Valid G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Experience operating 3‑ton or 5‑ton trucks or flatbeds.
Responsible, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
