Mitchell Plastics is hiring a Process Engineer to work at its Kitchener facility, focusing on manufacturing optimization of plastic automotive components. This full-time role emphasizes a hands-on approach to quality and efficiency improvements.

As part of your role, you will report to the Process Engineering Assistant Manager. Collaborating with different departments, you will support the launch of new products, troubleshoot production challenges, and initiate continuous improvements. Your skills in process analysis and problem-solving will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:• Measure efficiencies and report on process standards • Launch initiatives for labor and cycle time reduction • Analyze SPC and FMEA data for capability improvements • Develop methods to prevent defects and improve product quality • Implement new equipment and manage process capability

Requirements:• Degree or diploma in Engineering • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, focusing on plastics • Robust mechanical skills with analytical capabilities • Experience with structured problem-solving techniques • Competent in analyzing manufacturing data statistically
