What you’ll be doing You will be a welcomed team member, working in a fast-paced environment where you make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care that supports residents’ health, safety and overall well-being. You will also contribute to the culture of the home, always focusing on helping residents live fully every day.

What makes you a great fit

Strong knowledge of safe medication administration and ability to prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and the College of Nurses of Ontario standards

Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to follow up on all concerns and complaints from clients, families or team members and to seek assistance from the Registered Nurse or designate

Promoting the client’s self‑care and self‑sufficiency, emphasizing adaptation and abilities, and providing preventative health education while treating the whole person

Proven ability to complete assessments, RAPS and individualized care plans accurately and within required timeframes

Supporting the unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training and education

Post‑graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration is an asset

Performing other duties as assigned

What you need to know

Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate

Current Medication Administration Certificate

Minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare and/or Rehabilitation as an RPN

Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit

Successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
