Lead advancements in Wound, Ostomy and Continence care as an Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist. Facilitate patient-centered services and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
You will manage complex patient needs, contribute to program development, and provide leadership in care delivery. The role emphasizes collaboration with other health professionals and engaging in leadership to adapt and change strategies for care improvement. Successfully mentoring staff while spearheading best practice initiatives is key.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide expert consultation and coordination for WOC care • Lead quality initiatives and develop clinical standards • Assess safety events and propose improvements • Engage in program development with interprofessional teams • Deliver educational curricula related to WOC
Requirements:• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications • Current registration with the Nurses’ regulatory body • NSWOC certification required • Proven expertise in wound and ostomy care • Strong project management and communication abilities
