Position Summary:

In this position, your day will consist of operating Material Handling Equipment to move around the warehouse to prepare products for shipping and/or receiving. You will be expected to follow Health&Safety and Food Safety standards and ensure the accuracy of the orders for customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Material Handling Equipment, including pre‑shift and post‑shift equipment check.

Work in a variety of temperature zones from dry (15 °C) to freezer (‑20 °C).

Complete and keep up to date on all Health&Safety, food safety and quality assurance training pertinent to the role.

Report any concerns related to Health&Safety, safe handling and the integrity of all items received, stored and distributed.

Adhere to all Health&Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.

Perform daily housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Order Selector Duties:

Lifting and loading food and other products onto pallets (up to 80 lb).

Accurately selecting products using a computerized inventory system.

Scanning and placing labels on product and building pallet based on sequence.

Preparing pallets for shipping to customers.

Loader Duties:

Communicate information with various team members on shift and at crossover.

Ensure safety of trailers when in the loading dock.

Prepare trailers for food distribution per Food Safety procedures; complete all required paperwork and documentation.

Receiver Duties:

Communicate information with various team members on shift and at crossover.

Ensure safety of trailers when in the loading dock.Complete all required paperwork and documentation.

Inspect trailer for Food Safety standards per procedures.

Accurately put away products per Food Safety Standards.

Accurately replenish pick locations per Food Safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.

Experience with electronic picking equipment preferred.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, lifting from 10 to 80 lb.

Good communication skills, strong customer service mindset.

Ability to work in multiple environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas.

Good attitude, ability to work independently and within a team.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Safely operate an end rider, including pre‑shift and post‑shift equipment check.
