Residential Supervisor (Kitchener-Waterloo)

This is an existing position. Artificial Intelligence is not used to screen, select or assess candidates. $28.08 per hour, 40 hours per week.. Position could lead to permanent status with benefits. Requires a Broad Sector Police Check. Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends. On Call is required. Must complete a satisfactory medical fitness form. Must have a full G class driving license with a clean record. Must have at least 2 COVID injections. 'Responsibilities' ' Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver high-quality care to children and youth. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. - Develop and implement individualized care plans. - Support staff in managing behavioral and emotional challenges. - Facilitate communication between families, staff, and external agencies. - Monitor the progress of residents and adjust care strategies accordingly. - Maintain accurate documentation of all resident interactions. - Promote a positive, supportive environment that aligns with the company’s mission.' - 'Qualifications - Proven experience in assisted living, home care, or related fields. - Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff. - Knowledge of behavioral management techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. - Certification in First Aid and CPR. - Experience working with children or youth facing emotional or behavioral challenges is preferred.
