Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Long-Term Care (Kitchener)

Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility (RPN Position) Department: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Location: Lucknow Rate: $40–$45/hr Start Date: ASAP End Date: 3 months+ (possibility of extension) Qualifications: - Active and in-valuable-standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) - Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required - Minimum 12 months post-licensure experience preferred (candidates with less may be considered with strong overall experience) Schedule: - 6 shifts biweekly - Mix of days and evenings - Must be available for call-ins as required Responsibilities: Registered Practical Nurses are required to provide safe, competent, and compassionate care within their scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Duties may include but are not limited to: - Conducting resident assessments and delivering appropriate nursing care - Administering medications and monitoring resident responses - Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and update care plans - Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and charting - Ensuring compliance with facility policies, infection control, and safety standards - Supporting residents with daily care needs as required Note: Duties may vary slightly depending on facility requirements and shift assignments, with orientation provided on-site.
