Electrician Kitchener

Position: Industrial Electrician Location: Kitchener, ON Shift: Continental Rotation Shift Pay: $40 - $44 per hour + Shift Premium + Advantages Responsibilities Work as a member of the Maintenance team to complete scheduled PMs in a timely manner and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our PM program and the equipment. Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency. Complete detailed work logs for all repairs, to help our predictive maintenance process. Understand and apply the Electrical Safety Code at all times. Provide guidance and training to apprentices and junior tradespersons. Other duties as required. Will be working a rotating, 12-hour continental shift schedule (2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights) Qualifications College diploma in an Electrical program Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician with solid working knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing workplace Experience with PLC’s, variable frequency drives and motion control Experience with printing and high-speed packaging equipment would be considered an asset.
