The Opportunity Are you a proactive sales hunter with a knack for identifying and closing new business opportunities? Do you thrive in fast‑paced environments and have a passion for technology? If so, JFI invites you to be a pivotal part of our growth journey. In this role, you'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering customized IT solutions that address our clients' unique challenges. Key Responsibilities - Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media outreach, email campaigns, and participation in industry events. Expect to self‑generate 75-80% of your opportunities. - Client Engagement: Lead introductory and discovery meetings to understand prospective clients' needs and help align them with our service offerings. - Proposal Development: Collaborate with our project team to craft and present compelling proposals/quotes tailored to client requirements. - Sales Targets: Focus on securing Managed Services agreements, aiming to meet or exceed established sales goals. - Onboarding & Transition: Initiate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless handover to our project and client services teams. - CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in our CRM system, ensuring a clear sales funnel and pipeline. - Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Sales to refine our sales strategies and service offerings based on market feedback. About You - You have 3+ years of experience selling IT solutions to SMBs or are working in a similar sales role. - You relish the thrill of hunting for new business versus farming existing accounts. - You can demonstrate a successful track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets. - You are tenacious, take initiative, and are self‑competitive. - People tell you that you’re a good listener, that you know how to read a room, and you can tell a good story. - You MUST have exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written) and be able to convey complex ideas in simple terms. - You are confident and fearless. Cold calling, networking and presenting to decision makers comes naturally to you. - You are highly organized and have an eye for detail. - You are proficient with CRM platforms. Experience with AutoTask would be an asset. - You have a reliable vehicle and can meet with prospective clients across SW Ontario (mainly Tri-Cities and GTA).
