Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist (Kitchener)

Specialist clinic looking for a personable, organized, reliable Medical Receptionist in Kitchener close to the hospitals. This is a permanent part-time position, with 4 days (30hrs) per week. Working hours are between 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, with a half hour unpaid lunch. - Salary: $20+ (depending on experience) - Type: Permanent part-time (30hrs/week) - Expected start date: 2026-06-15 - Availability for training before start date is preferred Responsibilities include - Scheduling and confirming patient appointments - Review and update patient information - Liaise with hospitals, other medical offices, pharmacies, labs, imaging to help arrange patient appointments or exams - Fax, mail, scan documentation - Data entry into EMR - Maintain an organized and clean work workplace - Provide instructions for preparation for medical procedures - Answering phone calls and responding to messages from patients - Check in patients and obtain weight, height, blood pressure and heart rate Work experience - Previous experience preferred - Experience with EMR (Accuro) preferred - Experience with Novari and/or hospital booking preferred Please submit your resume via email.
