Construction Labourer (Ayr)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team on-site. Responsibilities - Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed on-site. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. - Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. - Help with site preparation including digging trenches, pouring concrete, or moving heavy materials. - Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Experience - Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. - Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is an advantage. - Ability to follow instructions accurately and demonstrate strong attention to detail. - Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual labor for extended periods. - Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
