Support Valard’s safety initiatives as a Construction Site Safety Advisor, focusing on multiple sites near Guelph. Foster a culture of safety and compliance in construction environments.

This role centers on providing field support to safety supervisors, foremen, and workers across Jarvis and Elora sites. As the Site Safety Advisor, you will ensure safety plans are effectively implemented, conduct regular site audits, and help resolve safety-related issues as they arise. Robust communication and analytical skills are essential for facilitating a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a safety consultant in the construction field • Host and document weekly safety meetings and reports • Work with teams to create and review Job Safety Analyses • Conduct site inspections to address safety concerns • Participate in incident investigations to determine root causes

Requirements: • Educational background in Safety-related field • Minimum 3 years experience in safety positions • Required valid drivers license for site travel • Competency in Microsoft Office suite • Optional relevant safety certifications
