Highlights: - Full time position (not seasonal work) - Travel allowance - even for local work - Full Benefits - Award winning Health & Safety program Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Protected removal of hazardous building materials - Set up and take down containment areas - Follow cleaning and decontamination procedures - Bag and dispose of materials properly - Help with demolition and general labour work when needed - Carry materials and keep the site clean - Adhere to safety guidelines, protocols and procedures - Use of basic hand and power tools - Must be able to wear Respirator and proper PPE Zero Environmental is a reputable firm located in Kitchener that specializes in remediation (the safe removal of mould and designated substances), water damage restoration and general demolition. Other services include media blasting and general carpentry and drywall work. Most work sites are local and travel is compensated. AAW and/or IICRC certification is a definite asset but training will be provided for the right candidates. Must be self-motivated, have good customer care skills, be willing to learn new skills and like physical work.
