Languages: English Education: - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. ResponsibilitiesTasks: - Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and roadworthiness - Operate and oversee all aspects of the vehicle during long-distance transportation - Conduct basic preventive maintenance and report any mechanical issues or defects promptly - Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies - Maintain accurate logs and records of trips, inspections, and deliveries - Safely transport goods to designated destinations within scheduled timelines Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: - AZ class license Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge: - Bill of lading - Driver logbook - Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) - Trip reports Transportation/travel experience: - Local - Long-haul Additional informationWeight handling: - Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Pay: $36.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ozsr7
