Construction Landscaper (Kitchener)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Construction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities - Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor spaces - Operate irrigation systems efficiently to promote healthy plant growth and conserve water resources - Assist with landscaping projects such as construction, installation, and renovation of outdoor features - Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through routine cleaning and servicing - Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and environmental standards - Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and horticulture principles - Proven experience in landscape maintenance and construction projects - Ability to operate all landscaping equipment safely and efficiently - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions - Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients - Valid drivers licence with min of 3 year experience driving and clean abstract - 1 year grounds maintenance experience - Own transportation, this position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor environments, with a focus on quality workmanship and team leadership.
