Description
Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Store Admin/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Duties - Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, head office and other parties. - Day to day administration at store level, including scheduling and coverage of all functions outside of sales, updating price tags and floor plans and ensuring adequate supplies are on hand. - Provide superior customer service at the store, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. - Perform office opening and closing procedures including daily banking, cash balancing and closing POS. - Assist with inventory and generating price tags when necessary - Administer and manager inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services and other correspondence. - Assist sales personnel with administrative duties when necessary - Assist customer service in dealing with all non sales related customer issues e.g. back orders wrong product, shipping errors. - Manage product transfers in and out of the store in an efficient manner. - Participate in special events such as private sales, boxing day sales etc. - Complete other assigned tasks as required. Requirements - High School diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. - 2-4 years of direct work experience in a receptionist capacity - Strong knowledge of general office procedures - Strong customer service skills - General mathematic skills - Strong written communication skills, e-mails, memos, letters etc. - Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions in written, verbal or diagram form - Adjusts and is flexible to meet changing work needs and demands - Superior verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills Physical demands - Able to move with ease throughout; sitting, standing, walking intervals - Able to sit at a computer work station/desk for minimum 3 hour intervals.
