Conestoga Meats is continuing to grow, and we have immediate openings for FULL-TIME General Labourers The Job: As part of the Conestoga team, you will play an important role, providing specialty and retail pork products to over 30 countries from one of the largest pork processing plants in Canada. What You Bring to The Position: Qualifications/Requirements - 1 month - less than 7 months experience in a labour related field. - Experience in Food Processing is an asset. - Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines. - A Functional Work Simulation Assessment must be passed. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Ability to perform physical and repetitive job duties for long periods up to 8 hours per shift. - A commitment to SAFETY and QUALITY practices - Strong attention to detail and demonstrated hand-eye coordination. - Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) - You are legally eligible to work in Canada. - Completion of some High School education - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. These positions are required for day (starting times vary from 6:00 am - 7:00 am) and afternoon shift (starting times vary from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm) Monday – Friday We anticipate 50 vacancies and the start date would be as soon as possible.
