Spectrum Health Care is hiring Part-Time Companions at $17/hour in the Kitchener and Guelph area. Support medically stable clients by providing companionship and engaging in light household tasks.

This role focuses on assisting clients under the direction of a Home Support Supervisor. Key tasks include meal preparation, housekeeping, and ensuring clients' comfort while their main caregivers are temporarily away. Your role is essential in fostering a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist with companionship and household activities • Perform basic meal prep and help with cleaning tasks • Provide respite care for medically stable patients • Monitor client needs and interests regularly • Travel across assigned region for home visits

Requirements:• Passionate about helping others with a compassionate outlook • Ability to communicate courteously and tactfully • Multilingual skills considered an asset • Required police check and recent TB test • Valid immunization documentation needed
