Position Summary

The Transportation Manager will oversee daily transportation and fleet operations, ensure compliance with transportation regulations, manage drivers and dispatch coordination, and drive operational efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, and supply chain coordination.Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily transportation and fleet operations to ensure on‑time and efficient service delivery Manage and support drivers, dispatch staff, and transportation coordinators Monitor route planning, scheduling, fuel usage, and fleet utilization Ensure compliance with Ontario transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policiesMaintain transportation records, driver documentation, permits, inspections, and compliance reports Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and work closely with service providers Analyze transportation KPIs and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and cost efficiency Resolve operational issues, customer concerns, and delivery delays in a professional and timely mannerCollaborate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams to improve workflow and communication Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of transportation staff Implement process improvements to increase productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction Assist senior leadership with operational planning, reporting, and budgetingQualifications

3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or supply chain operations Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of transportation operations, dispatching, routing, and fleet coordination Understanding of Ontario transportation regulations and safety compliance requirementsExcellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics software systems Solid analytical and decision‑making abilities Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitudePostsecondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is considered an asset Benefits
