Labour Relations Advisor in Human Resources, Kitchener

Elevate workplace relations as a Labour Relations Advisor at the Regional Admin Headquarters. This full-time role focuses on collective agreements, employee relations, and management best practices.

As a key member of the Labour Relations team, you will navigate complex issues impacting workplace performance, human rights complaints, and investigations. Your expertise will guide management through attendance management and performance issues, while chairing grievance meetings and facilitating mediation. Additionally, you will train staff on labour relations changes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:• Advise on the interpretation of collective agreements • Conduct performance and attendance management investigations • Chair grievance meetings and arbitration hearings • Provide mediation for workplace conflicts • Develop training for management on labour relations

Requirements:• Degree in labour relations or a related field • Strong knowledge of relevant employment legislation • Experience in industrial relations or human resources • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Ability to analyze financial implications of proposals
