CIMA+ Construction Inspector - Water/Wastewater, Kitchener

CIMA+ seeks a dedicated Construction Inspector focused on water and wastewater projects in Kitchener. Utilize your expertise to oversee construction quality and project compliance.

As a member of the CIMA+ Infrastructure team, you will ensure quality control on various water and wastewater construction projects. This role encompasses site inspections, documentation of construction progress, and proactive problem resolution. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders is key to project success.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform construction site inspections for adherence to standards • Document activities with detailed reporting and photos • Participate in construction progress meetings to address challenges • Arrange geotechnical tests and coordinate with engineering teams • Ensure safety compliance on all construction sites

Requirements:• Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant field • Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment projects • Proven communication skills with contractors and the public • Competent in reading and interpreting project specifications • MTO Class ‘G’ driver’s license in good standing
