Supervisor for Laundry and Housekeeping, Kitchener

Serve residents by leading as the Laundry and Housekeeping Supervisor at peopleCare. This full-time position focuses on ensuring comprehensive hygiene and effective management of laundry services.

In this critical role, you will oversee all aspects of laundry and housekeeping operations. Reporting to the Director of Quality and Risk, you will develop key cleaning schedules and monitor the quality of services provided. Your leadership and training will guide your team in maintaining infection control and compliance with health standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Supervise daily laundry and housekeeping functions • Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for various areas • Ensure compliance with infection prevention measures • Lead training on safe work practices for staff • Conduct audits and maintain sanitation documentation

Requirements:• Minimum of 2–3 years' supervisory experience • In-depth knowledge of infection control practices • Strong leadership and communication abilities • Experience in managing competing priorities and workflows • Diploma in Environmental Services or a related field preferred
