Join the dedicated team at Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) where your role is vital in delivering compassionate healthcare. As a Clinical Assistant 6, you will assist patients with personal needs, transport them safely, and document essential medical information. Leveraging your skills in a supportive team, you will play a crucial part in patient care during Monday to Friday daytime shifts.
Key Responsibilities:• Assist patients with personal care needs • Transport patients using wheelchairs and stretchers • Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas • Document vital signs, height, and weight accurately • Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:• Completion of a Health Care Aide Program or equivalent • CPR certificate at Heart Saver Level • Experience with oncology/palliative patients preferred • Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting • Strong teamwork and communication skills
