Position Summary The
Technical Training Coordinator
supports MC2 operations through the development, delivery, coordination, and maintenance of training programs applicable to personnel across Manufacturing, AMO, operational support, and administrative functions, including technical, regulatory, safety, and competency-based training requirements. In support of operational requirements, the role may also perform delegated technical inspection and quality support activities within approved scope and delegated authority.
Responsibilities
Oversee, coordinate, and maintain training programs and competency requirements for MC2 personnel across technical, operational, safety, regulatory, manufacturing, and AMO disciplines.
Develop, deliver, and maintain technical training for harness builders, manufacturing personnel, and other assigned technical staff.
Provide instruction on workmanship standards, drawings, wiring diagrams, approved procedures, certification responsibilities, human factors, and SMS awareness.
Support initial, recurrent, update, difference, and on-the-job training activities within approved Manufacturing and AMO processes.
Maintain training records, monitor competency status, and track expiry requirements within assigned scope.
Support competency assessments, identify training gaps, and contribute to continuous improvement of course content, materials, and training effectiveness.
Maintain awareness of applicable regulatory, customer, and industry training expectations.
Technical Support
Perform delegated technical inspection activities within approved authority, including in-process and final verification as authorized.
Verify conformity to drawings, specifications, approved procedures, and inspection requirements.
Review inspection, production, and traceability records for completeness and accuracy.
Identify, document, and report non-conformities in accordance with approved procedures.
Support limited quality activities, audit preparation, and corrective action follow-up when assigned within approved scope.
Exercise acceptance or rejection authority only within delegated inspection authority.
Carry out other duties and special assignments as directed by management in support of operational requirements.
Qualifications Required
Strong aerospace technical background in maintenance, manufacturing, avionics, inspection, or regulated quality environments.
Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and controlled procedures.
Demonstrated technical credibility suitable to support training of licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Strong documentation accuracy and regulatory discipline.
Preferred
AME licence (E or M), or equivalent aerospace technical qualification with relevant technical training experience strongly preferred.
Experience training licensed and non-licensed technical personnel.
Prior exposure to Transport Canada CAR 561 and/or CAR 573 environments.
AS9100 training or working knowledge considered an asset.
